CONNECTING MECHANISM FOR TELESCOPIC DEVICE Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61M25/00 A61M25/01

Abstract RU 2634637 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises the first tubular element and an extension element (2"). The extension element has the first diameter and is axially displaceable within the first tubular element. It also includes a connecting element (3") made movable on the extension element (2") with a possibility of setting in three positions. The first axial position in which the extension element (2") is movable within the first tubular element. The second axial position in which the connecting element (3") is engaged between the extension element (2") and the first tubular element interior, limiting their movement in the longitudinal direction. The third axial position in which the receiving section (5) of the extension element (2") is adapted to fix the connecting element (3") with respect to the extension element (2"). The receiving section (5) has the second diameter smaller than the first diameter. The transition part (6) between the first diameter and the second diameter is made in the form of a straight line perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the extension element (2").

EFFECT: prevents the connector from moving to its original position in order to avoid device reusing.
