FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely catheters, used, usually on a temporary basis, to remove urine from the patient's bladder or user. Packaged urinary catheter comprises a conduit having a proximal end and a distal end having at least one aperture for receiving urine from the bladder, and a sleeve whose length, width and size ensure that said conduit is placed therein and which surrounds it substantially along its entire length. Conduit and sleeve are arranged in the form of a spiral ring. Shape of the spiral ring is maintained by making the sleeve parts fastened together to be detachable at least along part of the length of the sleeve. According to a second embodiment of a packaged urinary catheter, said conduit is a synthetic polyisoprene tube.
EFFECT: technical result provided by the inventions consists in increasing the efficiency of production and reducing the costs associated with it in connection with eliminating the need for additional structures to maintain the shape of the rings; reducing the total weight of the device; ease of use for the unskilled user both in relation to the lack of packaging for transport and disposal, and with respect to the separation of rings by two hands, without any additional structures potentially separating from the device and inconveniently falling to the ground.
