FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: multilevel power converter device comprises: N direct current power supplies (DCC1-DCCN) (N≥1) connected in series and common for each phase; first mounted capacitors (FC1, FC3, …, FC2N -1), one end of which is connected to a negative electrode terminal of each source (DCCC1-DCCN) of direct current power supply and is common for each phase; second mounted capacitors (FC2, FC4, …, FC2N), one end of which is connected to a positive electrode terminal of each source (DCCC1-DCCN) of the direct current power supply and is common for each phase; and a phase module used as input terminals, positive and negative electrode terminals of first mounted capacitors (FC1, FC3, …, FC2N -1) and positive and negative electrode terminals of second mounted capacitors (FC2, FC4, …, FC2N). The capacitor (FC1u) in phase module is connected in parallel with two switching elements (Su7, Su8) of an output stage.
EFFECT: number of elements used in a multi-phase multilevel power converter is reduced, thereby reducing the cost of the device and reducing the size of the device.
