FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: container with a removable handle for transporting and storing articles comprises a box-shaped container, a lid, and a handle made of a handle with end members having grips on the ends, coupled with mating parts on the housing. The grips are adapted to carry the container and simultaneously lock the lid when it is lifted by the handle in the closed position of the container together with the support parts located on the end members of the handle. The housing has a form of a parallelepiped with rounded ribs. The mating parts are made in the form of horizontal recesses on each side face of the housing, the handle is made in the form of a C-shaped part made of elastic non-metallic material. The distance between the grips in the free state of the handle is less than the distance between the opposite outer edges of the recesses. The support parts are in the form of protrusions inwardly of the handle configured to form above the said handle and a curved support surface therebetween, which is conjugated to a corresponding convex outer curvilinear surface of the lid having a shape corresponding to the shape of the rounded housing ribs. In the middle of the generatrices of all four curvilinear surfaces of the lid, above the recesses in the housing in the closed position of the container, cavities are formed under the fingers to remove the lid. In the transverse planes passing through the symmetry axis of the lid, the recesses have bridges with internal magnets soldered into them, conjugated with opposite poles with external magnets soldered into the adjacent curvilinear surfaces of the handle.

EFFECT: secure latching of the lid.
