SUBSTANCE: sanitary napkin contains a base and an elevated flow direction element. The base contains an absorbent layer. The elevated flow direction element comprises an arcuate flow direction layer, a front sheet, a back sheet and a plurality of apertures. Each of the two lateral sides of the flow direction layer, respectively, is interconnected at intervals with the base. The maximum distance between the front edge of the flow direction layer and the base is less than the maximum distance between the back edge of the flow direction layer and the base. Each of the plurality of the flow direction element apertures is formed on an upper part of the flow direction layer. The front sheet extends from the front edge of the flow direction layer and the front edge of the front sheet is connected to the base. The back sheet extends from the back edge of the flow direction layer. The flow direction element with elevated structure can be inserted into the user's small genital lips and glued to them, as well as to the user's large genital lips.

EFFECT: elevated flow direction element improves the adhesive effect, quickly absorbs menstrual blood, directs it and prevents its outflow.
