SUBSTANCE: sanitary napkin (2) is proposed comprising: a substrate (3) with a base layer (31) and an absorbent part (32) protruding above the base layer (31) defining the longitudinal direction (X) and the transverse direction (Y) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X); and at least one absorbent member (4) comprising a plurality of connecting portions (41) connected to the absorbent part (32) of the substrate (3) and spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction (X), an absorbent portion (42), extending along the longitudinal direction (X) and connected to the connecting portions (41). In the absorbent portion (42), several elements (45) of fluffy wool are located. The absorbent part (32) of the substrate (3), the connecting portions (41) and the absorbent portion (42) together form several air channels (44), each extending along the transverse direction (Y).
