FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises the steps of capturing original images; dividing the original images into a plurality of segments; combining segmentation results in the step to create one unique probability diagram for each original image; comparing unique probability diagrams with a database of three-dimensional bodies representations, wherein the comparison of the unique probability diagrams with the database of the three-dimensional bodies representations to determine the closest match or the best mapping comprises the steps in which: the average three-dimensional image of the body is formed from the database of three-dimensional bodies representations; contour of average three-dimensional image of body is formed; contour with unique probabilistic diagrams for object is compared and degree of correspondence is determined, three-dimensional body data and/or measurements for an object are formed on the basis of the best display, the method further comprises the steps of: the three-dimensional image of the body and/or the contours formed to take into account the image forming factors present within one or more images of the object is changed.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of body three-dimensional data generation.
