FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: surgical needle includes a stylet with an ability to move inside a hollow body. A hollow body has a bevel tip for tissue cutting at one end, and a feedback piece providing a tactile feedback to the surgeon at the other end. The stylet has a resistance reducer at one end, which, when positioned at a predetermined distance from the bevel, reduces resistance when the surgical needle passes through the tissue. At the other end of the stylet there is a stylet bushing. The stylet bushing includes a proximal stopper, a stylet blocking part, and/or a stylet blocker.
EFFECT: provided tactile feedback, reduced resistance and minimizing or prevention of damage to vulnerable structures.
