COMPOSITION WITH STABILISED SUBTITLISIN Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC C07K5/06 C07K5/08 C11D3/386

Abstract RU 2635355 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stabilised subtilisin composition that is suitable for use as an enzyme or detergent concentrate and contains subtilisin and a hydrosulphite adduct of peptide containing an aldehyde group with the formula X-B1-NH-CHR-CHOH-SO3M, where: a) M is H (hydrogen) or alkali metal; b) R is such a group hat NH-CHR-CO is L or D-amino acid residue; c) B1 is one amino acid residue; and d) X is composed of one or more amino acid residues that optionally contain an N-terminal protecting group. Conversion of peptide containing an aldehyde group to a hydrosulfite adduct can be used to increase water solubility in the purification of peptides containing an aldehyde group. Preferably, this hydrosulphite adduct is itself effective as an inhibitor and a stabiliser of subtilisin, and can also stabilise the second enzyme, if it is present. The hydrosulfite adduct is effective as a subtilisin inhibitor, and it retains its inhibitory and stabilizing effects in a liquid detergent during storage.

EFFECT: by the use of a hydrosulphite adduct, the costs and time can be avoided to convert it back to peptide containing the aldehyde group, and the subsequent drying of peptide containing the aldehyde group can be saved, and this avoids the inconvenience of using peptide containing an aldehyde group in the form of a powder or as a very dilute aqueous solution.
