SUBSTANCE: device relates to the field of forestry and is designed to destroy low-value species of deciduous trees during thinning operations. The device comprises a housing in the form of a pipe of rectangular cross-section. In the upper part of the housing, a handle with a built-in chemical solution feeding mechanism is fixed, and there is a cutting device in the lower part. The cutting device consists of a U-shaped housing with a bridge welded from the bottom. Inside the U-shaped housing, there is a shaft with a toothed cutter placed on it, together with which toothed gears of a ratchet mechanism are mounted on the sides. On the left side of the U-shaped housing, a stop is rigidly fixed. Above the cutter shaft in the central part of the U-shaped housing, the drive lever of the ratchet mechanism is hingedly mounted.

EFFECT: reducing the labour consumption of the cutting process.
