FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device relates to forestry and is intended for elimination of inferior hardwood at tree surgery. Proposed device comprises frame composed of rectangular plate with side slot for tree. Stationary blade of cutting unit is fixed by bolts at lateral side of said slot while bearing assembly is bolted to said frame perpendicular to said slot for shaft to run in plain bearing. Cutter unit moving blade is rigidly fixed at one of the shaft free ends while chemical solution feed mechanism is secured at opposite end.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, lower repair and servicing costs, simplified design.
