FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for destruction of low-value deciduous trees in favor of conifers during thinning operations, such as clarification and cleaning, as well as for destruction of trees and shrubs on communication lines, power lines, on roadside lanes and on gas and oil pipelines. Device contains a cutting machine and chemical solution feed mechanism. Cutting machine – trimmer – consists of a power plant placed on the free end of the console, in which a shaft is mounted. Through the shaft from the power plant through a bevel gear communicates with the drive shaft of the cutting element in the form of a circular saw, located in the body of the cutting element. On the body of the cutting element the case of the mechanism of injection of a chemical solution is rigidly mounted, consisting of moving and fixed parts. Both parts are interconnected and connected to the chemical solution tank through a flexible pipe. Nozzle and two conical stops are located on the moving part of the injection mechanism in front of it. Rods with return springs are installed in the rear part. Injection mechanism is connected to the handle of the trimmer operation control by means of a cable.
EFFECT: reduced complexity of cutting process, reduced physical load on an operator during operation and transfer of the device and increased productivity.
