FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electrode comprises a potential sensor made of pressed copper powder and an insulating element in the form of a cylinder of polypropylene with perforations. The potential sensor is connected to the output cable and fixed inside the cylinder by means of an elastic locking-fixing element located in the end face of the cylinder. Inside the potential sensor there is a contact tip of the output cable. The copper powder contains fractions of 30-40 mcm and 100-500 mcm in a ratio of 4:1. The perforated cylinder made of polypropylene is wrapped with polypropylene film which is fixed on a polypropylene cylinder with a perforated elastic heat shrink sleeve.
EFFECT: decreased polarizability of the reference electrode, increased mechanical stability, increased amount of information on the quality of cathodic protection.
