FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: cooling tower sprinkler unit comprises a packet of corrugated sheets from polymer material with parallel corrugations, the adjacent corrugated sheets of sprinkler are fixed to each other to form the channels by corrugations. The input and output channels made in the form of hexagonal prisms generated by corrugations are produced by corrugations, while three layers of channels are formed between them by corrugations. Two layers of channels are extreme and the middle layer of channels is positioned between them, channels of extreme layers are directly connected - one with the input channels and another with the output channels, while the channels of the middle layer are connected with the channels of extreme layers. Channels of extreme and middle layers are made in the form of quadrihedral prisms, each input channel and each output channel is connected with two adjacent channels of extreme layers, channels of middle layer are offset relative to the channels of extreme layers so that each channel of middle layers is connected on the input side and on the output side thereof with two adjacent channels of extreme layers, while U-shaped, sinusoidal or trapezoidal corrugations of equal width and depth positioned perpendicular are formed at the side planes of the channels of extreme and middle layers.
EFFECT: increased intensity of heat-and-mass transfer due to elimination of straight flow of liquid and gas phases in the sprinkler channels.
