FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: cooling tower sprinkler unit comprises a packet of corrugated sheets from polymer material with parallel corrugations, the adjacent corrugated sheets of sprinkler are fixed to each other to form the channels by corrugations, wherein input and output channels made in the form of hexagonal prisms are formed by the corrugations, while channels made in the form of quadrangular prisms are formed between them by corrugations, wherein the latter are directly connected with the input and output channels and are offset relative to them so that each input and output channel is connected with two adjacent channels, made in the form of quadrangular prism, while U-shaped, sinusoidal or trapezoidal corrugations of equal width and depth positioned perpendicular are formed at the side planes of these channels.
EFFECT: increased intensity of heat-and-mass transfer due to elimination of straight flow of liquid and gas phases in the sprinkler channels.
