FIELD: sport.
SUBSTANCE: psychophysiological testing is carried out and the reaction to a moving object (RMO) and the brain performance (BP) are determined. The obtained results are compared with the model ones, which are peculiar to high-level chess-players. Degree of training is judged by the value of the approximation of these data to the model ones.
EFFECT: method allows to determine the degree of training of chess-players who are engaged in rapid chess, by conducting tests on the reaction to a moving object and the brain performance.
