FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to psychophysiology and can be applied to determine suitability of athletes for training in track and field athletics, specialising in all-round events. Athletes are tested by means of device of psycvhophysiologic testing UPFT-1/30 - "Psycophysiolog" by estimation of complex visual-motor response with demonstration of series of 110 light stimuli with ransom distribution of green and red colour. The first 5 signals consist of 3 red and 2 green signals and are training. After that, shown are three groups of signals, consisting of 20 red and 15 green signals. In the first group red signal is turned off by button "NO", the green one - with button "YES", each following signal is shown in 3-5 s after response. In the second group, on the contrary, red signal is tuned off with button "YES", the green one - with button "NO", each following signal is shown in 3-5 seconds after response. In the third group signal of green colour is omitted, red signal is turned off with button "YES", exposition of green signal is 2 s, after red signal the following signal is shown in 3-5 s. The device registers time of response to each stimulus and number of erroneous actions with determination of parameters: average time of response of excitation and inhibition processes, mobility of nervous processes and quantity of made mistakes on excitation and inhibition processes. If the average time of response of excitation processes is 351.00-373.00 ms, with the average time of response of inhibition processes 354.00-386.5 ms, mobility of nervous processes 359.94-407.55 ms, quantity of made mistakes on mobility of nervous processes 0.83-1.51, it is recommended to athlete to do track and field athletics with specialisation in all-round events.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to quickly, accurately, objectively estimate and select athletes for training in track and field athletics, specialising in all-round events, due to determination of athletes' sensomotor characteristics.
