FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacture of an orthodontic device for distalization of the first permanent molar includes manufacture of a gypsum model, a plastic base, a moving clamper made of titanium nickelide and a retaining clamper. On the gypsum model, the mesial surface of the first permanent molar is ground, creating a place for the premolar, the movable clamper is bent on the molar at a high temperature and asymmetrical υshaped loops are formed, located at the lingual and buccal sides, then the clamper is cooled, and its free ends are embedded in the base. The orthodontic device for distalization of the first permanent molar with active elements made of titanium nickelide includes a plastic base that moves the clamper made of a superplastic alloy with shape memory. The clamper is made of two asymmetrical υ-shaped loops, located at the lingual and buccal sides, and the free ends of the clamper are fixed in the basis.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the effectiveness of treatment with a reduction in its timing when the teeth are moved distally and their position is normalized, and the use of a minimum number of elements facilitates construction, simplifies device manufacture and its activation.
