FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: generator includes a charging circuit, a limiter and a load. The charging circuit is introduced into the Marx generator, which also contains N1 - links consisting of keys with condensers, connected by a cascade circuit of voltage multiplication of Arkadyev-Marx. The condenser of the first-link Marx generator is connected to the common bus, and the charging circuit of Marx generator is connected to the common bus and to the points of connection of the condensers and the keys in each of N1 - links. Between the last key of Marx generator and the common bus, a choke and a fast-recovery diode with a short reverse recovery time are connected in series. The limiter includes the charging circuit and N2 - links consisting of drift diodes and condensers connected in series. The condenser of the limiter of the first link is connected to the common bus. The charging circuit of the limiter is connected to the common bus and to the connection points of the condensers and drift diodes in each link of N2 - links. The last drift diode from N2 - links of the limiter are connected to the load connection point and the pulsed diode with a short reverse recovery time. The parameters of the charging circuits of Marx generator and the limiter and the number of their links N1 and N2 should satisfy the given conditions.
