FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: LED display device comprises a LED aging unit, a correction coefficient calculating unit, and a brightness correction circuit. The LED aging unit comprises a LED aging display including the second LED, a brightness meter measuring the dimming values of the second LED for each colour according to the glowing periods of the first LEDs, and a store of dimming values storing the dimming values. The correction coefficient calculating unit calculates correction coefficients for correcting the brightness of the first LEDs for each colour according to the combined glowing periods of the first LEDs of the corresponding colours and the dimming values of the corresponding colours. The brightness correction circuit adjusts the brightness of the first LEDs for each colour according to the correction coefficients.

EFFECT: providing compensation for low visibility of the display screen caused by changes in brightness characteristics of individual LEDs, without the need to stop the device operation.
