FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for elbow joint training contains shoulder and forearm splints, interconnected by a pivotal mechanism and having belts for shoulder and forearm fixation, two tractions for arm flexion and extension, each equipped with an arm flexion/extension angle adjustment element. Each shoulder and forearm splint is made in the form of a ring on one side and a semi-ring on the other side, which are connected by three guide plates, which are integral with the ring and the semi-ring. The distance between the semi-rings of the shoulder and forearm splints is 50 mm at an angle of 180°between the splints. The two side plates in each splint are symmetrical with respect to each other and have protrusions for the hinge mechanism. Rollers are fixed on their middle guide plates and on their respective semi-rings. The forearm splint ring is provided with an internal detachable handle for the hand and has holes for handle installation in the desired position. Each rod for arm flexion and extension is a synthetic tension tape. One end of the arm flexion rod with the adjustment member is movably attached to the shoulder splint ring, and the other end thereof is fixed to the forearm splint ring. One end of the arm extension rod with the adjustment member is fixed to the middle guide plate of the forearm splint and in front of its ring, and the other end thereof is pushed through the forearm splint semi-ring roller and fixed to the shoulder splint semi-ring roller. Belts for shoulder and forearm fastening are equipped with gaskets and push-button clamps to fix the fastening. Each splint has a soft liner.
EFFECT: invention provides convenient use and effective training of the elbow joint with elimination of contractures therein.
