SUBSTANCE: sampling the core samples from wells, examining the samples by gamma-ray logging and determining the gamma activity of uranium from the core are carried out, the core samples being sampled from the samples with the highest gamma ray logging characteristics, which are then examined on a gamma spectrometer for residual activity in uranium and thorium, the ratio of the gamma activity of uranium and thorium f determines the type of rock, the type of rock determines the value of the correlation coefficient for uranium and rare-earth elements for the sample f_i, in accordance with the rock lithology, the correlation coefficients K_uv (uranium-vanadium) and K_ThTr (thorium - rare-earth elements) for this type of deposits, then the amount of ore component is determined, taking into account the intermittent and area distribution.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability and speed of determining intervals of well sections with ore content of vanadium and rare-earth elements.
