FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: pre-hatching treatment of quail eggs with ultraviolet radiation is carried out. The quail eggs are exposed in a limited darkened space with reflective surfaces to long-wave ultraviolet radiation in the range of 350-400 nm using a BL350 lamp. Eggs with the brightest shell luminescence are selected for hatching.
EFFECT: expanding functionality, improving the accuracy of forecasting the hatching quality of quail eggs, and reducing labour intensity.
