FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electrolyser contains two coaxially arranged external electrodes: the outer electrode is a tube with a longitudinal hole, the inner electrode is a tube or rod. Dielectric bushings are installed between the electrodes. The inner surface of the outer electrode does not have a dielectric coating. A part of the external electrode that has a longitudinal hole, is a sector of a cylinder, and at the end of the electrodes there is an electrical connector for supplying to the voltage electrodes.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the productivity of the electrolyser by reducing the electrical resistance of the water layer between the working surfaces of the electrodes.
