FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of drinking water treatment by electrolysis and is aimed at increasing the efficiency of water saturation with hydrogen. Essence of the solution lies in the fact that a flow-through electrolytic cell with coaxial electrodes is used, of which the external cathode is made of titanium, and the inner anode is made of porous titanium with a platinum group metal coating, the electrodes are placed between each other with a gap of not more than 1 mm, connected to a pulsating direct current source and a pulsating direct current is supplied with a pulsation frequency of more than 100 kHz and a duty factor D of 0.5-0.6.
EFFECT: creation of conditions for active release of hydrogen without release of free oxygen and exclusion of formation of deposits on electrodes.
