FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to drain the lacrimal passages in endoscopic endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy. A dacryocystorinostom (DCRS) 5-6 mm in diameter is formed by endonasal endoscopic approach with drainage introduction into the lacrimal bag lumen through it for a period of 3-4 months. A modified T-shaped drainage, manufactured intraoperatively from a sterile T-tube with a diameter of 4 to 5.3 mm with T-shaped blades size of 2 to 3.5 mm and additional counter-rotation in the main part, is installed. Before drainage introduction through DCRS it is fixed in a straightened position with bayonet tweezers.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of endonasal endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy and improved results of treatment by creating a method simple in dacryocystorhinostom drainage system installation with a possibility of self-fixation in the lacrimal bag.
