FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: self-propelled agricultural harvesting machine includes a hinged harvesting unit and at least one working unit. The hinged harvesting unit is designed to grip the crop to be harvested in the field. The working unit is designed for treating and/or feeding the harvested crop. Controlling at least one parameter of at least one functional device of at least one working unit, associated with the harvesting machine, is provided for adjusting to various conditions of use. A control device is provided, made with the possibility of operation in the mode of mowing the first strip on the field for setting at least one parameter for the hinged harvesting unit and/or at least one working unit for switching the harvesting machine in a configuration for mowing the first strip on the field.
EFFECT: invention provides for removing the charge from the machine operator controlling the harvesting machine at the beginning of harvesting an untreated field.
