FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: system contains a column (20), designed to be held in a vertical position in the container. The column (20) comprises of a closed lower end (23) and through holes (21) in its side wall (22) for the flow of the dry bulk material inside the container (10) into and out of the column (20). To measure the weight of the dry bulk material, a load cell (25) is used inside the column (20), and then the correlation between the weight and the level of dry bulk material in e (10) is established. The column (20) and the holes (21) in its side wall may have various shapes and configurations.
EFFECT: simple and economical system and device for measuring and controlling the level of dry solid bulk materials in the hopper.
