FIELD: mechanical engineering; inductive surfacing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to centrifugal inductive-metallurgical method of surfacing of inner surfaces of complex-shape bimetal bushings, such as bushings with thrust flanges. Charge is fed into cylindrical blank and blank is rotated at inductive heating until charge is melted. Blank is made with two flanged parts with bored grooves for flanges of article to be made. Inductor is placed for enclosing simultaneously one of flanged parts of blank and its cylindrical part. Centrifugal surfacing is carried out first from one and then from other side of blank. Installation has centrifugal machine, powder mixture measuring-and-filling machine delivering mixture into cylindrical blank, and one-side action inductor. Inductor consists of two parts for heating flanged part of blank and its cylindrical part. Inductor is made in form of n half-turns whose number depends on design dimensions of bushing to be manufactured. EFFECT: enlarged technological capabilities of inductive surfacing. 3 cl, 5 dwg
