FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for saturating liquid with gas at the interface of contiguous phases, when gas bubbling is unacceptable. The saturator contains a body made in the form of a conical shell provided with upper and lower elliptical bottoms. The upper bottom is provided with branch pipes for liquid supply and gas outlet. The lower bottom is provided with gas supply and liquid discharge branch pipes. A truncated cone connected with motion mechanism is mounted inside the body on the upper elliptical bottom. The lower wider surface of the truncated cone with the inner surface of the conical shell forms an annular gap, the width of which can vary with the movement of the truncated cone. The cavity formed by the inner surface of the body and the outer side of the truncated cone located above the annular gap is a supply zone. A perforated gas distributor is installed in the central and lower parts of device in the form of coaxially arranged meshed conical shell with elliptical bottom. Liquid supply and discharge branch pipes are interconnected by a circulation pump.

EFFECT: treatment of solutions with different viscosity, as well as emulsions and suspensions.
