FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: indicators are determined: frequency of alpha-oscillations and crosscorrelation function of electroencephalogram, inter-peak amplitude N75P100 of the visual evoked potential, inter-peak amplitude N2P3 of the cognitive evoked potential P300, as well as indicators of the time of simple visual motor reaction and the mean square deviation of the heart rate variability, recorded in patients under epilepsy standard conditions. Using the regression equation, which has the form y=-5.57+0.86* and the logit transformation P=ey/(1-ey) determine the likelihood of a patient with epilepsy falling into one of the groups characterising patients with a favourable or adverse course of epilepsy.
EFFECT: method helps to increase the reliability of diagnosis of the course of epilepsy, which is achieved through the use of the above physiological indicators and their mathematical transformation.
