FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to neurology and endocrinology. Concentrations of autologous antibodies to ionotropic glutamate receptors selectively binding N-methyl-D-aspartate from 18.7 to 23.5 mcg/ml are determined in blood serum. Alpha rhythm in the range from 13 to 39 mcV, low-frequency beta rhythm in the range from 16 to 27 mcV, and high-frequency beta rhythm in the range from 15 to 35 mcV are determined in the EEG picture. The combination of the above factors indicates the development of cognitive impairments (CN) in young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and effectiveness of early diagnosis of CN in young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with minimal manifestation of neurological symptoms due to the assessment of a set of the most significant indicators.
