FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: construction material comprises a substrate and an ultraviolet radiation shielding layer comprising zinc oxide particles and silica particles, formed on the substrate surface. The silica particles in the ultraviolet radiation shielding layer are attached to the substrate surface. The silica particles are arranged around the zinc oxide particles in the ultraviolet radiation shielding layer. A method for producing a construction material includes mixing silica particles, zinc oxide particles, a surfactant, an alcohol, and water for a coating material production. In addition, the method comprises applying the coating material to the substrate surface. The coating material is then dried to form the ultraviolet radiation shielding layer, in which the silica particles are arranged around the zinc oxide particles.

EFFECT: construction material prevents the destruction of the substrate or the intermediate resin layer due to photo radicals that may be generated by zinc oxide.
