SUBSTANCE: faraday isolator for high power lasers with a magnetooptical rotator made of noncubic syngony crystal, the axis of which coincides with the orientation of the optical axis of the crystal, contains a polarizer sequentially located on the optical axis, a crystal magnetooptical rotator installed in a magnetic system, and an analyzer.
EFFECT: increasing the degree of the device insulation at a fixed maximum permissible operating power, or increasing the maximum permissible operating power for a fixed degree of insulation.
