FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aluminium alloy for manufacturing semifinished products or parts of automobiles, in which the alloying components of aluminium alloy have the following contents by wt %: Fe≤0.80, Si≤0.50, 0.90≤Mn≤1.50, Mg≤0.25, Cu≤0.125, Cr≤0.05, Ti≤0.05, V≤0.05, Zr≤0.05, the rest-aluminium and unavoidable impurity elements, taken separately <0.05, the sum is <0.15, and total content of Mg and Cu satisfies the following ratio of wt %: 0.15≤Mg+Cu≤0.25, wherein Mg content of aluminium alloy is greater than Cu content. Method for manufacturing the strip of aluminium alloy includes casting of ingot, homogenisation at 480-600°C for at least 0.5 hour, hot rolling at 280-500°C to form strip, cold rolling of strip to final thickness and recrystallisation finish annealing.

EFFECT: creation of aluminium alloy having good formability, sufficient strength and corrosion resistance.
