FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the strip production out of AA6xxx series alloy, and can be used to manufacture the structural elements in automotive industry, aircraft industry or production of rail vehicles, in particular as structural element in automotive industry, preferably as structural element of the body. The method of strip production out of AA6xxx series aluminium alloy includes casting from alloy of the ingot for rolling, its homogenization, ingot heating to the temperature of hot rolling, and hot rolling, then, if necessary, ingot cold rolling to final thickness, diffusion annealing and cooling of ready rolled strip, wherein during the hot rolling the strip is cooled during last two runs directly after rollers exit after last run of the hot rolling to temperature from over 130 to 250°C, preferably to 230°C, and is coiled at this temperature.

EFFECT: increased alloy deformability, and reliability of strips production from it.
