SUBSTANCE: coated sieve comprises a mesh frame. A sieve mesh having an upper surface and a lower surface can be attached to the upper side of the mesh frame and can extend along the length and the width of the mesh frame. The sieve mesh surface can be coated. The coating can be oleophilic or oleophobic. A method of coating a sieve mesh is also described, in which a first coating is applied to the first sieve mesh surface, the first coating being at least one selected from hydrophilic and oleophilic, and a second coating is applied to the second sieve mesh surface, the second coating being at least one selected from hydrophobic and oleophobic.
EFFECT: increasing the fluid flow rate through the sieve and improving the fluid drainage indices.
