SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coalescing filter for cleaning of gas containing at least one liquid contaminant by the said at least one liquid contaminant coalescing, and having inlet for the gas supplying into the filtering element, present in the coalescing filter and containing the primary coalescing medium, which is provided for the said at least one contaminant coalescing in primary coalescing medium during the gas displacement through the primary coalescing medium, wherein the coalescing filter further has outlet for the coalesced contaminant discharging from the filtering element, and the primary coalescing medium comprises at least one layer of porous material, at that, the primary coalescing medium has total thickness of at least 3.5 mm.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce primary coalescing medium, which provides a greater yield from the present in fluid contaminant separation.
