SUBSTANCE: for use when treating patients with deforming arthritis of the first carpometacarpal joint with stage 2-4 after Eaton and Glickel, as well as in case of instability of endoprosthesis of trapezio-metacarpal joint total trapeziectomy is carried out, channel at the base of the first metacarpal bone is formed, a bonding between the bases of the first and second metacarpal bones is created of tendon graft and tendon glomerule is placed in trapezoidal space. Then a channel is formed at the base of the second metacarpal bone. Proximal end of the tendon half of abductor pollicis longus muscles is passed in the channels at the dorslim of hand, it is pulled to offset its mounting in bone channel of the first metacarpal bone, its end is tied with free tendon graft fromlong palmar muscle in the form of ball and fixed to the tendon of radial flexor muscle of hand under the base of the first metacarpal bone.
EFFECT: method allows to create retention bonding between the first and second metacarpal bones with simultanious stretching abductor pollicis longus muscles, which prevents proximal offset of the first metacarpal bone.
