SUBSTANCE: method for separating a components mixture in a device with multiple contacts of the first and second liquid phases is proposed. The mixture is fed to the device with the first liquid phase, which, prior to achieving separation of the component fractions, is recirculated through the device, and the component fractions are withdrawn from the first phase device. The process of separating the components is carried out in a countercurrent-cyclic mode, including the periods of recirculation of the first phase in the absence of second phase recycling and periods of recirculation in the reverse direction of the second phase, in the absence of recycling of the first phase. The components fractions are withdrawn from the device with the first phase after the period of its recirculation and with the second phase after the period of its recirculation.
