SUBSTANCE: portion capsule containing a capsule body whose wall and base define interior space in which a substance for producing a beverage/food product is provided, which is dissolved and/or extracted by means of a liquid introduced into the portion capsule. In the interior space, a liquid distributor is provided downstream of the liquid supply, which at least partially distributes the liquid supply along the cross-section of the portion capsule characterized in that a seal is provided around the perimeter of said portion capsule. The seal is provided in the form of a flexible sealing tape which is elastically deformed when inserted into the capsule body and, as a result, is pre-strained in the direction of the capsule wall. The liquid distributor is displaced in the direction of the substance to produce the beverage when the liquid enters and/or when an opening means is moved.
