SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a capsule for the beverage preparation, which comprises a sidewall, an inlet wall, and a bottom wall, forming a hollow body having the substantially central axis. The inlet wall extends from the peripheral end of the sidewall to said central axis, and several dented sections extend both on the sidewall and the inlet wall across the edge between said walls, each section connecting the side wall and the inlet wall to each other.
EFFECT: capsule configuration ensures improved stiffness during the operation of said capsule in a beverage machine, reducing the risk of the machine malfunctioning or the possibility of capsule parts falling into the finished beverage stream.
