FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: seeds are treated in water at contrasting temperatures 20°C and 40°C for 30 seconds each for 20-40 minutes with simultaneous transmission of alternating current from 1 to 5 A through the water. The seeds treated at contrast temperatures are subjected to additional treatment with pulsed laser radiation for 3-30 min with pulses repetition rate of 20 Hz to 33 Hz and duration of 10 to 20 ns. A device for the method implementation is additionally proposed.
EFFECT: increased seed germination, germination energy, acceleration of growth of seedlings and development of their root system.
