SUBSTANCE: device comprises an endless intermediate transfer tape, a toner image formation unit made with the possibility of forming a toner image on the intermediate transfer tape, the first transfer element arranged outside the intermediate transfer tape in contact with the intermediate transfer belt and configured to form a transfer clamping area, where the toner image formed on the intermediate transfer tape is transferred to the record material, the second transfer element arranged inside the intermediate transfer tape in the position opposite the first transfer element through the intermediate transfer tape and configured to form the transfer clamp area, a constraining mechanism configured to constrain the intermediate transfer tape deviation in the transverse direction, the constraining mechanism being made in such a way that the maximum range, in which the intermediate transfer tape moves in transverse direction is represented by a specified range during the transfer operation to transfer a toner image on the intermediate transfer tape to the record material, and a clamping element provided on the side upstream the intermediate transfer tape direction relative to the transfer clamping area and configured to clamp the inner surface of the intermediate transfer tape at a distance equal to or smaller than 25 mm from the uppermost by stream position of the second transfer element area adjacent to the intermediate transfer tape, in the direction of the tape intermediate transfer movement to the upstream side in the direction of the intermediate transfer tape movement, the clamping element having a surface including a contact surface coming into contact with the intermediate transfer tape, and both ends of this surface being arranged outside the both ends of the above specified range in the transverse direction of the intermediate transfer tape.
EFFECT: eliminating image defects associated with the change in the electric transfer field due to the fact that scraped particles stick to the rollers making up a transfer area and may gradually fall into the image area, while the belt moves constantly.
