FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: compact reactor includes a housing, rectangular reaction channels located in the housing, filled with a cobalt catalyst, branch pipes for the input of synthesis gas in the amount determined by the ratio of the number of channels to the number of synthesis gas inlet pipes, a branch pipe for the input and the output of the coolant, on which a pressure regulator is located, and a node of the input of the synthetic hydrocarbons. The cobalt catalyst is activated by passing hydrogen through it. Synthetic hydrocarbons are produced by passing through the reaction channels of the reactor, filled with an activated cobalt catalyst, synthesis gas. Every 300-500 h, the synthesis gas volume velocity is increased, followed by a return to the initial conditions of the method. Achievement of productivity by high-molecular hydrocarbons per unit mass of the reactor is not less than 1160 g C5+/kgr/day with the productivity of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst not less than 1200 kg C5+/m3cat⋅h⋅, the conversion of CO is not less than 69%.
