FIELD: gas industry; technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas chemistry and relates to reactors for producing synthesis gas from natural/associated gas during autothermal reforming. Reactor includes reactor channels partially filled with a catalyst and located parallel to the longitudinal axis of the reactor, a side outlet of the product. In this case, it is provided with an air supply channel with a flow distributor whose outlet is located opposite the outlet of the reactor channels, a part of the catalyst being located at the outlet from the reactor channels, between the reactor channels and the reactor vessel. In addition, the lower level of the catalyst is located between the outputs of the reactor channels and the air supply channel, the internal cross-sectional area of the reactor vessel is 2.5–4 times larger than the total internal cross-sectional area of the reactor channels, and the outlet of the air supply channel is located at a distance of 2–4 inner diameters of the housing opposite the outlet of the reactor channels.

EFFECT: technical result is to increase the conversion of natural/associated gas to a value of at least 85 % with a synthesis gas productivity of at least 7,000 m3/(m3cat·h) and the total residual content of CH4 and CO2 not more than 5 % by volume.
