SUBSTANCE: magnetic resonance system contains a magnetic resonance scanner configured for thermographic measurements, one or more processors, which receives the thermal images data from the magnetic resonance scanner and reconstructs at least one thermal image where each voxel of the area of interest includes a temperature change measure, and identifies voxels with a thermal anomaly on the thermal image by comparing the measured temperature changes with the expected temperature change, and a display device. The method of magnetic resonance thermography is implemented by using a magnetic resonance system including a permanent machine-readable medium.

EFFECT: accuracy of magnetic resonance thermal images formation increases.
