SUBSTANCE: magnetic resonance control system comprises a magnetic resonance imaging system including a magnet with a visualization zone for collection of magnetic resonance data from a patient from within the imaging zone, a heating system configured to heat the target zone within the visualization zone, a memory for computer-executable instructions storage, a processor for medical device control, execution of instructions prescribes therapy plan acceptance, repeated control of heating system in accordance with the therapy plan to heat the target zone during alternating heating periods and cooling periods, magnetic resonance data collection by controlling the magnetic resonance imaging system in accordance with the first pulse sequence, and commands prescribe collection of magnetic resonance data during cooling period selected from at least one of the cooling periods and therapy plan modification in accordance with the magnetic resonance data. The system also includes a computer-readable medium. The control method is implemented through the system.

EFFECT: reduced time required to collect image data of various types.
