SUBSTANCE: use: for processing medical images. Essence of invention consists in that system of magnetic resonance (MR) generates a map of weakening or density. System includes an MR scanner, which defines the scope of investigation, and at least one processor. At least one processor is programmed to control an MR scanner for use sequences of forming image to the scope of investigation. In response to the sequence of an image forming sets of MR data of analysis volume are received and analyzed for identification of various types of tissue and/or material detected in pixels or voxels maps of weakening or density. One or more specific for tissue and/or material specific values of weakening or density are assigned to each pixel or voxel of attenuation or density maps, based on the type (s) of tissue and/or material, identified in each pixel or voxel during analysis of sets of MR data. In one embodiment the types of tissue and/or material are identified based on time sequence of MR phase images.
EFFECT: technical result: increasing reliability of producing determined images when processing medical images.
