SUBSTANCE: section of bit-phase shifter with digital control contains an input directional-phase shifter with a weak link, the input of which is the device input, an output directional-phase shifter with a weak link, the output of which is the device output, a digitally controlled attenuator, the output of which is connected with the associated input of the secondary line of the output directional-phase shifter, the first and second transmission line lengths, the third and fourth lines end-closed quarter-wave associated transmission lines. The input of the first length of the transmission line is connected to the output of the primary line of the input directional-phase shifter. The input of the second length of the transmission line is connected to the output of the first length of the transmission line. The isolated output of the input directional-phase shifter and the isolated output of the output directional-phase shifter are loaded with matched ballast loads. The output of the second length of the transmission line is connected to the input of the primary line of the output directional-phase shifter, the input of the third end-closed associated transmission line is connected to the associated output of the secondary line of the input directional-phase shifter, the output of the associated arm of the fourth associated line is connected with the input of the digitally-controlled attenuator. The total length of the series-connected two primary lines of the input and output directional-phase shifters, the first and second lengths of the transmission lines, the linking regions of the third and fourth associated lines and the link amount of the third and fourth associated lines are determined by their relations in the channels of the Schiffman phase-shifter for the case of the maximum bandwidth at a value of relative phase shift in two channels, equal to 90 degrees.

EFFECT: reducing insertion loss while reducing power taken from a power source, at the minimum step width of phase discrete adjustment, minimum parasitic amplitude modulation, with a larger value of an input signal power.
